In this year’s report, we share OpenText’s progress, initiatives, and commitments to making a positive impact on our environment, empowering diverse voices, and upholding the highest standards of integrity. Through our Zero-In Initiative, our guiding framework for all our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) efforts, we strive to create a future where our actions leave zero footprint, where barriers are broken down, and where compromise is non-existent when it comes to our core values. The OpenText Zero-In Initiative is our guiding framework to achieving global impact goals related to our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments and programs. Affirming our promise to harness the power of technology for the greater good, the OpenText Zero-In Initiative is focused on specific, measurable goals that leverage data to enable us to move the dial on critical global challenges.
The OpenText Zero-In Initiative is centered around three pillars:
We are committed to transparency and holding ourselves accountable to our ESG goals and continuing to foster a culture of tech for good.
We are focused on having a majority ethnically diverse workforce, 50/50 gender parity within key roles, and 40% women in leadership positions at all management levels all by 2030.
We are committed to an emissions reduction target of 50% by 2030 and net-zero by 2040 as well as zero-waste to landfill from operations by 2030.
To maintain our position as a market leader, it is crucial that we earn and establish the trust of our customers, employees, investors, suppliers, and the communities in which we operate. There will be zero compromise when it comes to doing what is right. In alignment with our Supplier Code of Conduct, we expect all of our suppliers to behave responsibly, ethically, and sustainably. Active monitoring of our suppliers helps us ensure they are compliant with relevant legislation and key elements of our Supplier Code of Conduct.
